An opportunity to work within the English department of a large secondary school in Bury - supporting pupils across various levels of learning ability.

- Required to start ASAP.

- Paid to teaching scale point (£28,000 - £43,685).
- Experienced and newly qualified KS3/4 English teachers are urged to apply.

Our client secondary school is based in Bury and has around 900 pupils on roll. The school has been graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is known for its consistently good GCSE results. The school also has a well-organised SEN and support department for pupils inneed of extra support to reach their full potential. This is seen as an excellent benefit to teachers as it allows them to assign specific tasks to the teaching assistants in their lessons.

Roles and responsibilities may include:

- Teaching a full English timetable across Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Supporting pupils at varying levels of learning and ability.
- Taking on full planning and marking responsibilities.
- Attending parents evenings and department meetings.

The school is easily accessible via the M62, A56, M66 and A58 and public transport links from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Rochdale and Heywood.
