The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Quality & Technical team as an Assistant Garment Technologist. Within this role, you will support the team to create the best expression of each style, collaborating with various teams and supporting the business initiatives. This role requires a can-do attitude, initiative, and a willingness to learn from experience. Good communication, written and verbal.

You Will

Assist and support the Quality & Technical team as required, gaining experience, observing, and learning to deliver high calibre construction and quality standards

Log and distribute samples to team members

Prepare meetings for the team, gather samples, book meetings, measure samples

Measure and inspect sample submissions accurately and independently

Complete sample comments with the support of a senior member of the team

Check products against approval standards

Learn about the Garment Tech role, fit consistency, quality management and critical path.

Understand the rejection/ escalation process, observe, and learn how the team finds solutions.

Learn the consequences of product failure with the support of my line manager

Support in issuing post and managing out-going post

Deliver or contribute to other tasks/projects as necessary

You Are

A graduate with a relevant degree

Responsible for your own performance and development

Continuously seeking to gain knowledge and expertise on the latest innovative developments and technology

Adept at building effective relationships, communicating, engaging with colleagues and suppliers at all levels

Confident, commercial and well-founded in your approach to making decisions quickly and effectively

Able to embrace change in a busy environment
