Summary:
A vacancy has arisen in a small friendly office in Cromer for an Administrative Assistant.
Duties to include:
- General reception duties, to include greeting visitors and answering and directing incoming calls.
- Inputting invoices to the Xero Accounting System and reconciling payments.
- Administration of building control submissions to the relevant District Council.
- Management of Client invoices and fee notes.
- Use of Microsoft Word to create correspondence, reports and invoices.
- Updating of Company Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- General filing duties.
Qualifications and Essential skills:
- Minimum five GSCE Grade 6 (or Grade C) passes to include English and Maths.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Xero (accounting software) preferred.
- Experience of Management Accounts would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Planning Portal system would be useful, but training can be given.
- Good communication and telephone skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a small team.
Hours:
The position is part-time Tuesday-Friday.
Hours are negotiable, however, there will be a requirement for a minimum of 6 hours on Fridays.
Flexibility will also be required (Monday-Friday) to cover the holidays of the Office Manager.
**Salary**:
Salary negotiable depending on experience
Holidays:
Holiday entitlement will be 28 days per year, including Bank Holidays (pro-rata)
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22 per week
**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Cromer: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
