kff is a regional food wholesaler with c.270 colleagues based near Maidstone, Kent. We are part of Sysco, the world’s largest foodservice provider with over 65,000 colleagues globally. kff has a family feel with a close-knit team, supplying both fantastic local pub and restaurant customers as well as delivering direct to the caterer.

We currently have an immediate vacancy for a full-time marketing Co-ordinator to join our friendly team in Aylesford, Kent. This will be an initial 12 month temporary contract to cover a period of maternity leave.

Reporting into the Marketing Manager the main function of this role consists of supporting the marketing manager with marketing initiatives, strategies and tactics to build positive brand awareness with our customer base.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Maintain company brands; Consistency of message | Maintain a consistent company image | Brand positioning | Research and analysis
- Support public relations, advertising & sponsorship; Work with external PR agency to target publications | Magazine advertising
- Support & develop printed publications; Work with external brand agency | Support in the production of several product guides and promotional literature
- Support & development our ecommerce platform Maintain existing content of website | Work with the Marketing Manager to review and launch development projects
- Provide in-house design support; Create marketing collateral that adheres to strict brand guidelines | Work closely with the marketing manager and sales team to form design strategy
- Analyse the market to identify trends; Monitor competitors, changes in consumer trends and external impacts such as legislation
- Manage search engine marketing to boost website traffic; Effective key word copywriting | Work with web developers on website performance | Title tags and meta descriptions | Rich media content | Regular content updates
- Organise & oversee the running of exhibitions; Identity sales opportunities | Stand design with external builders | Sales leads management | Advertising and PR | Oversee the running of exhibitions
- Plan & manage social media; Help form strategy | Select relevant channels; | Manage customer feedback | Monitor competition | Lead generation
- Support with photographic and video shots; Work with a team of chefs and professional photography company Captured Image
- Analyse & monitor competitors; Monitor competitor publications | Read industry magazines and distribute information to relevant departments
- Copywriting & proof reading; Write engaging copy with purpose and attention to detail | Sign off copywriting | Proofing | Assist website copy and content
- Sales Reporting; Work with the marketing manager to report and evaluate on marketing initiatives in terms of ROI and brand awareness
- Promotions; Support all promotional led activity | Gathering promotion’s | Reporting and analysis | Scheduling
- Recipe Development; Work with a team of chefs to create innovative recipe ideas | Identify trends | Utilise product range
- Internal Communication; Review and improve internal comm | Create utilize intranet platform | Memo and other business critical notifications
- Analyse the market to identify trends; Monitor competitors | Identify changes in consumer trends

**Accountabilities**:
-Work with internal marketing employees and outsourced agencies - Maintaining brand identity at all times
- Reviewing and analysing marketing communications, making improvements to improve business performance
- Provide relevant and timely marketing communications for customers and colleagues
- Build and maintain relationships both internally and with suppliers

-Support the production of kff literature - Monitor competitors and their activity and make recommendations on how the company responds
- Identify marketing opportunities for the business
- Help and support as and if required in all aspects of the marketing function at kff
- Measure results and develop monthly performance report on all digital marketing activities

**Competency profile required/Person specification**:

- Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Experience in maintaining website content (CMS Systems and HTML)
- Social Media Channels
- SEO & PPC experience
- Ability to work towards deadlines
