Administrator/ Accounts Assistant

We are looking for a diligent, confident, self-motivated, and experienced person to fill the role of Finance Accounts Assistant. Reporting to the Regional Controller, North Wales
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Posting purchase and sales invoices to Sage Business Cloud.
- Monthly bank reconciliations.
- Processing payments and receipts.
- Producing monthly finance reports via Sage Business Cloud for management.
- Liaising with the local council and other stakeholders.
- Deal with queries both from internal/external parties in a timely and professional manner.
- Point of contact for requests from our external accountant and internal stakeholders
- Answering phone calls, taking and passing on messages to other members of the team.
- Assist with the distribution of incoming mail.
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
- Creating, editing, and updating spreadsheets with daily transactions
- Create cost centres as required.
- General admin. I.E. Scanning, filing, photocopying
- Participate in any appropriate training opportunities and undertake any other duties that may from time to be time be required.
- Identify and implement your own learning and development requirements.
- Carry out any additional tasks outside your usual role to meet the needs of the business.
Person Specification:
- An ordered approach to work and willingness to follow and develop agreed procedures.
- Ability to work by yourself and as part of a team to manage, organise and prioritise workloads.
- Skills in numeracy, literacy, and good computer skills
- Accurate data entry
- Proficient in the use of Sage Business Cloud
- Comfortable with the aims of the Big Help Project.
- Willing and able to work the occasional evening and Saturday.
**Experience**:
- Full driving licence and use of own car
- At least one years’ experience in a finance office
- Experience of working with vulnerable people.
- Experience communicating with a variety of stakeholders across a business.
