QA Test Engineer

Here at Cornucopia ITR we have partnered with a Globally recognised Technology Leader. They are currently on the lookout for an experience QA Test Engineer to Join one of their teams based in Chertsey. This role is part of a newly formed development teamwhich is a piece of the wider European Head office. The role will be varied and pivotal, improving customer experience across Europe.

**The role;**
- Review documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.
- Provide inputs on the creation of User Stories to the Product Owner
- Estimate User Stories approved by the Product Owner
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs/ defects
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and plan strategies

**Skills;**
- l Proactive, independent, responsible attitude
- l Strong experience in working with the large organization, multiple stakeholders and big agencies
- Manual Testing, AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Testing, Web site testing, Browser Stack testing
- Full test life cycle liaising with software development teams
- Able to write test cases for end user UI
- Understanding of WCAG 2.0 accessibility guidelines
- Deep knowledge of the Scrum framework and an understanding on how to implement it effectively for any software project
- Experienced using Jira
- Excellent team skills, necessary for the collaboration with the other team members
