**The Role**

We are looking for a UX / UI Designer who creates exceptional user interface designs and has the ability to translate and develop those into world class intuitive and modern graphical interfaces.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious UI/UX Designer to lead the UX design function for the development of our products and solutions. You will be working with talented cross-functional agile development teams to deliver software solutions with best-in-class user experiences for a variety of diverse customers across defence and public sector.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces - use of design tools eg. Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
- Uplift the design of existing UI IP using best in class design and personal creative ideas.
- Ensure that the user interfaces for Envitia's products are accessible to all users and follows best practices in line with customer requirements.
- Conduct user research, creating user personas, wireframing, prototyping and ensuring that the product meets user needs and expectations.
- Assist in the refinement and implementation of the designed user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. For web based designs ensure responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
- Work closely with users and developers to ensure a cohesive and efficient development process.

- Conduct usability testing and gathering feedback to iterate on designs and improve the user experience.

**Skills Required**:

- Application of User Experience Design and User Centric Design principles.
- Ability to translate designs into working graphical user interfaces with the assistance of front end software engineers.
- Strong graphical design background and knowledge of Design Systems.
- Good at translating customer requirements into an actionable user experience design
- Knowledge of User Interface development using frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue.js and native js with some proficiency in CSS and HTML.

**Security Clearance Requirements**

**Location
The role will be required to be in our Horsham offices 2 days a month as well travel required to clients sites when required.
