Linen & Luggage Porter

The _**Bracken Hide**_ is hiring a _**linen & luggage porter **_to join their team in Portree, The Isle of Skye. This is a seasonal variable hours, up to full time contract, and you will be working a minimum of 16 hours per week.

**Where?**

The Bracken Hide is a new four-star wilderness hotel, which connects guests to the magic of the Island, the stunning land and seascapes and the nature that abounds. We are located on 52 acres to the west of Portree. Close enough to leave the car and walk into Portree.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Transferring clean laundry to the main linen room and cupboards, making sure deliveries are counted and recorded.
- Transferring bags of used laundry, bringing down rubbish bags to the bin area and transferring deliveries of housekeeping stocks to storerooms and cupboards.
- Handling guests’ luggage and showing them to their rooms.
- Making sure that guests are given prompt, courteous and effective service at all times.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: £12.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
