**Wellbeing Coordinator - St Johns care home in Spalding, Lincolnshire - Part of the Country Court Family**

**Hours: 25.5 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Hours 0830-1730)**

As a well-established part of the community in Spalding, St Johns Care Home provides residential and specialist dementia care in a warm, family-led setting. Our dedicated team led by the Manager offers a caring environment that is safe, secure, and sociable.

**Do you have a creative flare & want to make a difference everyday?**

We are looking for a Wellbeing Coordinator with creative flare and out-of-the box thinking to organise, run events and activities for our residents. From pumpkin-carving, to budding gardening, crafts and more - no two days will ever be the same as you support our residents to try new things and ensure they feel connected with the wider community.

**What you will be doing: It’s hard to capture everything but we’ve jotted down a few key parts of the role below**:

- Organise varied activities within the Home to cater for a variety of interests and life stories for individuals, small groups and large numbers of residents.
- Meet targets set out to improve our resident’s lives which includes getting to know every resident through our 'Resident of the Day’ programme
- Work together with other local community groups and the wider local area.
- Bring fun, ideas, and energy into our residents’ lives Inspire others through great relationships, to deliver a range of thought-provoking wellbeing ideas
- Coordinate a wide range of trips & experiences within the local area for small groups & individuals
- Arrange key events throughout the year, such as seasonal celebrations & charity events

**About You**:
We are looking for someone who is friendly, welcoming, and entertaining, and would ensure all activities are appropriate for all residents.
- An understanding of care sector would be advantageous
- Have a friendly & caring attitude
- Good planning & development skills
- Able to engage well with the residents and their families
- Be proactive, passionate, and supportive team player, with experience of maintaining the highest levels of customer service.
- You will be going out and about, networking, planning activities and with residents therefore having access to your own vehicle with business Insurance is essential
