**Maintenance Technician**
**9 Month Contract**
**Rotating Shifts - 6 Weeks days - 6 Weeks Nights**
**Days 7:00am - 5:15pm Mon - Thurs. Nights 8:45pm - 7am Tues - Fri**

**Maintenance Technician**
- Perform PPM and reactive work on mechanical machines. (CNC Machines)
- To make corrective electrical repairs to plant and equipment. Aiming to return it to an acceptable condition.
- Ensure highest priority is given to safety and the well-being of operators, maintenance personnel and 3rd party in the vicinity during maintenance of equipment
- Implement planned corrective maintenance in a scheduled equipment shutdown situation
- Carry out inspections to monitor and record the condition of a variety of plant and machinery.
- Provide an installation and refurbishment service for plant equipment and buildings as required to facilitate the improvement of company assets
- Will be required to work in hazardous areas i.e basements, pits, service ducts, towers and roofs

**Maintenance Technician**
**Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications**:

- Knowledge and experience with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems
- Confident carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on a range of plant equipment, including CNC machines/machine tools
- Holder of a form of engineering/maintenance qualification (city & guilds, NVQ, HND, HNC, apprentice trained, time served etc)
