**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Provide a welcome to the patients who are in contact with the department
- Respond to telephone and/ or face-to-face enquiries complying with departmental guidance
- Request, cancel and rearrange appointments in line with local and national targets
- Administrative tasks within the department e.g., utilising IT systems in line with the departments key performance indicators

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
