Fixted Term

A fabulous six month maternity leave cover position has become available in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. You will be covering for the nanny (who was placed by us) when she goes on maternity leave in July.

This is a three day, live out position. You will be working three long days, so will receive the equivalent of a full-time salary. Although the days are fixed, a little flexibility would be appreciated. You will be looking after two boys, aged ten and twelve, along with a friendly Labrador. Both parents work from home occasionally, but this is a sole charge role.

After the morning school run, you will return to the house to organise the boys. The family has a weekly cleaner, so this role will consist of nursery duties only (the boy’s laundry, keeping the kitchen, their bedrooms and playroom organised and tidy, wardrobe management, etc). The role will also include cooking healthy and nutritional meals and snacks. The family would appreciate it if you cooked a little more each mealtime, so that they can enjoy your cooking too The dog needs a good walk and to be fed each day too. He is friendly and likes to be round the children.

Once you have completed your daily duties, you will have some free time in the day. The family have a gym, which they are happy for you to use.

In the afternoon, you will collect the boys from school and take them to their various after school clubs. Home for dinner and some supervised homework and music practice. Finally, completing the day with a shower and some chill time before their parents take over, making sure everything is tidy and organised ready for the next day.

In the school holidays, the days are to be filled with fun activities such as bike rides, picnics, farm visits, swimming and walks with their dog. The children also enjoy indoor activities - reading, playing board games, Lego, cooking/baking and, inevitably, time on their devices.
