Presser

We are currently seeking a skilled Presser/Operator to join our dynamic team at Blanksons Basingstoke. You will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of finishing and presentation of our garments, contributing to the efficient operation of our production line.

Core Duties:

- Sorting, spotting and organising garments for cleaning and pressing/finishing
- Strong attention to detail to ensure garments are properly pressed and finished
- Knowledge of different fabrics and their specific pressing requirements
- Operating and maintaining dry cleaning, laundry, spotting, and pressing equipment/machines effectively
- Ironing and steaming garments to ensure a high-quality finish
- Packaging and labelling items according to set standards
- Adhering to health and safety protocols in the workplace
- Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not essential
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality standards
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing demands
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

**Salary**: £7.76-£12.69 per hour
