Equine Groom Apprentice

Working with professional people, the training will give a good foundation to go on and work in any sphere of equestrian.
A high standard of care and attention to detail will be expected to maintain the company image we pride ourselves on. We offer several livery options:
- Part or Full Livery
- Breaking Livery
- Sales Livery
Yard Duties will include:
- Turning out and bringing in.
- Mucking out.
- Feeding, watering and haying.
- Grooming.
- Clipping and trimming.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the yard at all times.
- Bandaging.
- Tacking up.
- Lunging/long rein.
- Riding.

**Desired qualifications**
- GCSE’s or equivalent in maths and English are desired
- Applicants must not already hold a level 2 or higher in Horse Care
**Future prospects**
**Training**
- Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
- The applicant will be working towards and gain a Level 2 Equine Groom Apprenticeship.
- The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and onsite visits throughout the apprenticeship.
- The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of their apprenticeship.

- There is no accommodation on site, own transport would be desirable.
