Job Description: Security Officers

**Responsibilities**:

- Adhere to a predetermined schedule for routine patrols to ensure the security and safety of the premises.
- Inspect and monitor the condition of access points, fences, gates, and other security equipment during patrols.
- Report any signs of damage, unauthorized access, or security breaches promptly.
- Act as a visible deterrent to unauthorized individuals by maintaining a vigilant presence during patrols.
- Challenge and question suspicious individuals or activities and report them to the appropriate authorities.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, or calls for assistance promptly and efficiently.
- Follow established procedures to address incidents, such as contacting law enforcement, fire department, or medical personnel as necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations.
- Complete incident reports and provide written documentation of security-related events.
- Monitor and control access to restricted areas, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
- Verify identification and credentials of individuals requesting access.
- Maintain effective communication with the central security office, fellow officers, and other security personnel using radios or other communication devices.
- Adhere to all security policies, procedures, and guidelines established by the organization.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, tenants, or employees with inquiries and directions when necessary.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour while on duty.
- Display a high level of integrity, honesty, and reliability in all interactions.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on security best practices and industry trends.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role.
- Excellent observation and surveillance skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract
