An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Cheshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire & Shropshire areas, for an individual to promote sales of youngstock feed and supplements.

**THE JOB**
To promote and support the sales of milk replacer products for calves and lambs; starter compound and blended feeds for calves and lambsdirect to customers and via the Sales Team. To increase sales margin in these areas. Key focus areas for the role are:
- To support the Sales Team (Branch and field based) in the sale of youngstock feeds (milks and compounds) to increase sales and profitability for the business.
- To own and resolve customer problems where appropriate before they escalate to major issues and loss of customers.
- To identify all herds where we are supplying dairy feed but not calf feed, focused on Cheshire/Shropshire/Derbyshire/Staffordshire, to gain market share.
- To assist with continually reviewing, amending and developing products and suppliers to the business to enable us to be at the top of the feed supply market.
- To deliver the budgeted sales, volume and margin targets of the product range across the geography.
- To support and develop sales through the training of field sales and retail staff, to increase sales and profit.
- To undertake self training as outlined by your Manager to continue personal development.**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED**
- To work effectively in a matrix organisation, ensuring stakeholders and others are aware of your activities.
- To be an effective agent of change and deliver expectations.
- To communicate effectively to stakeholders within and outside the business.
- To have a solid agricultural background
- not necessarily formal.
