Mobile Service Delivery is part of a process flow within Service Delivery, BT Enterprise, which provides a dedicated end-to-end Managed Ethernet Access Service (MEAS) service, as well as transmission planning and provision, for major mobile customers such as MBNL, Vodafone, EE and O2.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Primary responsibilities include evaluating network requirements, overseeing the entire process from planning to installation, managing stock, generating purchase orders, and facilitating the acceptance of link installations.
- Demonstrate industry leading knowledge and understanding of the End-to End Transmission Delivery required to take customer sites successfully from initial instruction right through to Activation.
- Work with the Senior Manager, Activations and Technical Configuration and other stakeholders to create a Brilliant Transmission customer experience for MNO customers.
- Work closely with all key stakeholders across all Planning and Delivery Teams to drive Milestone progress and delivery through to ready for Activation for all Transmission solution types (BT Leased Lines, Modifies and Microwave Radio) reducing delivery timescales where practicable by identifying, clearing or escalating any blockers or unnecessary delays.
- Support all Mobile Infrastructure Delivery teams and own relevant milestones and activities to deliver against the customer and business KPI’s with an eye for growth of market share.
- Be the MW Technical Expert for Planning and Delivery teams, both on-shore and off-Shore.
- Proactively review live MW links performances and review with Operations.
Essential skills
- Mobile and Telecoms familiarity
- MEAS, Transmission
- Familiarity with MW, Transmission, Fibre Delivery, Operational Management
- Experience in Microwave Transmission Delivery Mechanism and Tools
- Customer/Operational Delivery experience

Experience Required (mandatory)
- Network Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of network requirements, taking into consideration factors such as capacity, coverage, and performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with RF engineers, transmission engineers, and site acquisition specialists to integrate microwave solutions seamlessly into the overall network infrastructure.
- Frequency Planning: Develop and implement effective frequency plans, considering interference and regulatory constraints, to optimize the use of available microwave spectrum.
- Hardware and Software Upgrades: Evaluate existing hardware and software components, recommending and implementing upgrades to enhance the performance and efficiency of microwave networks.
- Collaborate effectively with small works contractors and third-party suppliers, demonstrating proficiency in managing and overseeing operations. Maintain stringent control measures to ensure compliance, meet deadlines, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
