**About us**

We are a small family run business of 4 individuals who build bespoke factory automation for the plastics industry, specialising in ultrasonics and associated automation but also dealing with vibration welding, spin welding and more general factory automation. We are in a unique position of being able to provide a varied daily routine where your input truly makes an impact to us as a company, our customers and the general public.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- CNC machine metals in 3 axis using a vertical milling machine. This includes programming, machining, set-up and finishing.
- Manually turn acetal, aluminium, CPM steel and Titanium. This includes set-up, turning and finishing.
- Tune the produced parts to certain natural frequencies (training to do this will be provided).
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Do routine maintenance on a variety of metal working machinary.
- Work as part of a team to ensure that the automation that leaves the factory works and is of a satisfactory quality.
- Provide feedback on any materials or tooling required as stock depletes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Experienced in CNC programming using Heidenhein (Bridgeport Interact II) or Hurco (VNC20i) control systems.
- Experience in using a manual lathe.
- Experienced in conventional toolroom machinary (pillar drills, tapping heads, linishers etc).
- Experienced in cutting a variety of different metals.
- Willing to learn any gaps in knowledge required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
