We are currently looking to recruit a Storeperson to join our Engineering Service Division. The role is to cover a 12 month contract on a project in Birmingham City Centre.
- Ensure all orders are up to date and advise the supervisors of any shortfalls, monitor site requisitions for materials issued to the supply chain.
- Will review advice notes received and advise the Project team of any discrepancies or faulty goods and submit to the Liverpool office immediately as per the company procedure.
- Will clean and maintain the stores and office areas, file all stock reports in an orderly manner.
- Ensure all plant and instruments are fit for purpose calibrated and in good repair. Ensure that safe clear unobstructed access and egress to the site accommodation and stores is maintained at all times.
- Work with the Quantity Surveyor and assist as requested in stock and materials on site. Will keep a comprehensive stock list always which can be audited without notice.
- Exercise strong communication skills and communicate clearly and concisely with internal Managers, Engineers, Suppliers and the Client and their representatives. Work closely on a day to day basis with the Managers and Project personnel.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience within a similar role.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- A willingness to learn and use initiative.
- A good understanding and appreciation of health, safety and wellbeing.
- IOSH Working Safely, or an equivalent health and safety qualification.
- Active ECS Card.
- Ambitious, hardworking, and prepared to lead from the front.
