Wood has an opportunity for a Technical Clerk to join our team in Staines.

Our portfolio of project work covers new developments, expansion of existing assets, and the optimisation of facilities and systems.
Following completion of the assignment there may be opportunities to reassign the successful applicant elsewhere in the organisation and give them the opportunity to develop a career in their chosen area of expertise outside of the Technical Clerk role.
You will be required to help support delivery of engineering excellence in assigned projects through providing administrative support to a project. You will be required to:
- Liaise with Lead Discipline Engineers and the Project Management Team to help facilitate successful delivery of the project.
- Perform clerical and administrative project duties involving record and file maintenance and data entry.
- Ensure that all information is handled in a secure and accurate manner in compliance with all policies, procedures, checklists and legislation, escalating where procedures do not exist for a particular situation.
- Provide data entry administrative support to a specific functional support area as delegated, such as data processing, data retrieval, data entry and reporting.
- Support in collecting information and data for reporting and communicates progress.
- Organise and maintain files of correspondence, records, databases etc. and follow up pending matters.
- Works as part of a team where tasks are allocated in relation to specific requirements with completion standards defined.
- Understand the method of operation of the project as well as knowledge of departmental operations and procedures.
- Populate templates and create documents.
- Complete assigned tasks with accuracy using all available resources.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and wider IT software.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
