**Role Purpose**

As a freelance or permanently employed Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering a range of courses primarily face-to-face in the Bury St Edmunds area with some online support.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our team with experience and competence in any of the following areas:

- Cleaning & Facilities
- Health & Safety
- Mental Health
- Employability
- Customer Service

**Typical deliverables**

This list is not exhaustive, and you are expected to undertake any reasonable activity suited to your qualifications and experience.
- Offering information, advice and guidance and carrying out initial assessments to identify learner needs
- Ensuring compliance with ESFA funding rules by completing sign up paperwork.
- Supporting learners with our online and face to face delivery model
- Completing teaching and learning observations in line with our quality department.
- Attend standardisation meetings at mutually agreed times.
- Effectively engage and communicate with our clients to maintain positive relations.
- Generate and promote our products in addition to courses delivered.
- Deliver high quality training to our Employability provision programs
- Taking part in continuous professional development, including completion of own qualifications
- Effective lesson planning.
- Liaising regularly with your line manager and quality assurance team
- Travel involved, within 1 hour of London. You need to be geographically placed.

**Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications**
- Minimum of 1-year experience within specialist vocational sector
- Excellent practical and theoretical knowledge of vocational specialism

Industry-specific qualifications, including BICS.
- Assessing and/or teaching qualifications
- Good IT skills - working level of knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other and databases such as Onefile.
