**SEMH Learning Support**

Role location: Denton, Tameside

Starting date: Immediate

**Salary**: £1350-£1600 PM depending on experience

Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

Our school in Denton is an independent specialist day school, for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 17. Our purpose-built state-of-the-art school provides a safe learning environment for those with social emotional and mental healthneeds (SEMH) and those living with autism (ASC), who also face other challenges such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia and attachment disorder (AD).

We look for people to join our staff team who have the creativity and enthusiasm needed to deliver the best outcomes for the children and young people. These students have barriers to education that prevent them being able to attend school.

Empowering Learning are searching for specialists to work with students in the Tameside area and this is your opportunity to give young people a second chance at fulfilling their potential.
- Will have recent or relevant experience working with SEMH / ESBD
- Will be dedicated, committed and passionate
- Will have a good understanding of the needs within specialist and mainstream provisions
- Will be responsible, safe, and inclusive when planning and implementing lessons
- Have qualifications relevant to working in SEND establishments e.g., Team Teach, Moving and Handling, MAPA etc.
