Kennel Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Kennel Assistant.

As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care for our dogs. This position requires a love for dogs and a patient and caring attitude.

Ideally suited to someone who has kennel maid experiencE.

**Duties**:

- Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel
- Speak to owners and admit/discharge dogs.
- Feed and water animals according to their specific dietary needs
- Clean kennels and maintain a clean and sanitary environment
- Walk dogs and provide exercise and playtime
- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
- Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Assist with bathing and grooming of animals

**Skills**:

- Animal care experience is preferred
- Own mode of transport
- Knowledge of basic veterinary procedures is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to interact with dog owners
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Self driven and motivated to work alone.
- A thorough and precise approach to work with a good attention to detail.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
