Butchers shop assistants required to work in a very busy family butchers / sandwich shop.

This role would suit someone who has worked in either a retail or catering/kitchen background with experience of food handling and/or customer service.

**Wage: National living wage according to age**

We require an honest, reliable person who can communicate well with customers and team members.

This role involves serving customers, sometimes in a fast paced environment.

Duties include the preparation of produce, which may include making sandwiches, pies and burgers etc. Cash handling, cleaning the work area and some washing up.

We require someone who can cope in a busy environment who is competent in carrying out the basic addition of sums.

Training will be given.

**Hours **to be discussed at interview, typically 4/6 hours per day including some Saturdays.
We can be flexible, by agreement, with start and finish times to fit in with child care etc.

This role could be 16 - 30 hours per week depending on your situation.

**Please note we may not be located on a main bus route depending where you travel from.**
