**Position Summary**:
The Product Information Administrator for Silmid will play a major role in maintaining an accurate catalog in the Silmids ERP system. They will be responsible for setting up new product part numbers with all relevant information such as, but not limited to, item description, unit of measure, specification, and manufacturer. They will also be responsible for coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders such as suppliers, manufacturers and/or customers to gather and verify all necessary data for the catalog requirements. Also known as Product Information Management (PIM), the information stored within databases and internal systems that drives the content of websites or other customer facing interfaces is fundamental to the success of the business.

**Duties**:

- Uses database analysis to identify product information that requires edits, updates, or further review. This is usually done using reports, task management tools, Excel spreadsheets, SQL Queries, Business Intelligence software and supplier engagement.
- Manage large datasets and ensuring that the data formats are correct and will upload correctly for display on the ecommerce websites.
- Responsible for new part number set-up in the Silmids system to ensure reduction in duplicate part numbers, SDS verification for REACH and Prop 65 compliance, shelf life, part number consistency and accuracy of UOM’s and MPN’s.
- Maintain and modify part numbers, deactivate duplicates and ensure specification additions in the Silmids system as necessary.
- Maintain Silmids system Notes to reduce missed charges for freight, hazmat fees, export fees, test report fees, dry ice charges etc.
- Assist with ensuring the purchasing parameters in the Silmids system are maintained accurately, for example, lead times, MOQs and price breaks.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Desirable to have 6-8 year's experience in building product catalogs or 3-4 years' experience dealing with Aerospace chemicals.
- Must be advanced in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Preferred experience in SQL & ODBC
- ERP experience highly preferred.
- Experience in Total Quality Management Systems (QMS), Lean Manufacturing or other similar environments is a plus.
