Position: Transport Planner
Location: Worksop, S80 3FY
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, 6:00am - 18:00pm

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- Responsible for the delivery of efficient and profitable transport plans
- Meeting the Network KPI's and exceeding the customer SLA's
- Using ConnectTMS to build loads, create routes, allocate vehicles, trailers and driver resource to planning deadlines
- Liaising with and booking agency driver resource when required
- Providing real time monitoring to ensure that work is being completed within the given timeframes
- Ensuring continuous improvement of the transport network, driving up customer satisfaction and improving the cost effectiveness of Transport

- Previous transport planning experience is **essential**:

- Strong understanding of Driver regulations and Working Time Directive
- Experience working with FMCG Customers
- Excellent problem solving skills with an analytical approach
- Good interpersonal skills - both verbal and written
