Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team in a bustling hospitality environment. The role involves supporting the kitchen staff in food preparation and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the guidance of the kitchen team.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
- Keep kitchen floors and work surfaces clean and sanitised.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
**Skills**:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting is advantageous.
- Basic culinary skills to assist with food preparation.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to help wherever needed in the kitchen.
- Knowledge of hygiene practices within a kitchen environment.
Pay: £7.91-£11.86 per hour
