Glass Processor

- Reading and understanding diagrams
- Measuring accurately
- Manual handling of glass, therefore a degree of fitness is required
- Ensure high quality standards are maintained
- Performing other tasks as assigned
- Following health and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor
- Ability to take instruction
- Working as part of a team
Hours of work and shift pattern will depend upon specific role, and you would be advised of the shift pattern at either interview stage or prior to starting if successful. Shifts may be one of the following:
- Monday to Thursday 6am to 6pm (46 hours) OR
- Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6am (46 hours)-permanent nightshift OR
- Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm alternating weekly with Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10.30pm, Friday 2pm to 8pm (37.5hours)
We offer full time permanent contracts and the opportunity for further training and development is available for those that wish to progress and demonstrate that they are capable of doing so.
Wages are paid weekly, one week in arrears and we offer 29 days annual leave per year,(pro rata depending upon shift pattern and start date) which is 4 weeks during the year and 9 days for our annual closure in December.
We provide all the necessary PPE required and a uniform is supplied once the qualifying period is met.
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dundee., DD4 8XD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
