We are delighted to be working alongside our very professional and highly reputable accountancy based client as they seek to recruit an Outsourcing Manager to join their Uckfield team on a permanent and full time basis.

**The role**:
This is a newly-created role for my client in their ever-expanding, dynamic outsourcing business, and is best suited to an individual who is passionate in providing an exceptional bespoke service to clients.

Whether your background is industry or practice, you will be supporting the director in improving systems and processes to enhance clients businesses which range from entrepreneurs & SMEs to large group companies.

You will be confident working with a range of people, presenting management information, dealing with VAT compliance, and preparing forecasts & budgets. You will be an excellent communicator, able to work to changing priorities to meet the needs of a diverseclient portfolio.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
Lead a team

Train and support both team members and clients

Work alongside the Director, looking at new technologies and systems to enhance efficiency

Liaise with senior personnel across the group

Review bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT returns

Review year end packs to be passed to accounts and audit team

Assist with ensuring that deadlines and time budgets are met

Complete and review VAT compliance including registration, de-registration, option to tax, VAT enquiries and investigation (In this role you will also work with the group VAT specialist who will be able to advise and direct on more complex areas of VAT)

Develop and maintain good client relationships

Assist and advise clients with their accounting systems, which can include designing accounting processes and internal controls

Ensure a high level of service to meet client expectations

**Skills and experience required**:
Positive, dynamic team leader with supervisory experience

ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Qualified by experience

Previous proven book-keeping and management accountancy experience

Extensive VAT knowledge

Numerate and analytical with excellent written and verbal communications skills

Intermediate/advanced Excel, Xero, Sage 50

Proven knowledge of working with and improving processes and systems
