Finance Manager, Agribusiness Private Equity Fund

**About our client**
We are partnering with a leading Agribusiness Private Equity Fund which is looking to hire a Finance Manager. Headquartered in London the team has decades of investing, development and operating expertise across the globe with an unparalleled track record.This position will work across the business with a particular focus on valuation models, investment system maintenance, regular liaison with internal and external stakeholders as well as assistance with the deal process as a whole. This is a fantastic opportunityto join a specialist fund within a lean team and work across the business.
**What the job involves**:
- Maintaining portfolio valuations models and undertaking both regular and ad-hoc valuations
- Manage information and back-office record-keeping systems supporting investment, fundraising, client support and general administration activities
- Assist with investment execution, closing process and fund tax structuring
- Liaison with our fund administrator: cash calls, distribution notices, quarterly and annual reports and investment execution
- Manage a suite of FCA policies and procedures, including maintain timely records and preparing regular and ad-hoc compliance reports
- Support Business Controller in management of fund holding structure and monitoring of portfolio companies
**Who we are looking for**:
- Recent graduate from a reputable university with a finance or quantitative degree with professional experience, preferably with some accounting and/or modelling experience
- High IQ and strong academic track record with excellent analytical ability
- Highly proficient in Excel, with strong modelling and analytical skills
- Work closely with partners and other team members of the company in an entrepreneurial environment within a private equity firm
- Meticulous attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
