Protocol Education are currently recruiting graduates to work as learning support assistants to work with children with SEND.

This school are looking for graduates who are passionate & enthusiastic in the development of children who stive to adhere to the school’s ethos of promoting a positive and engaging learning experience for its students. You will work with children with SEND autism, speech & language or complex needs and you will be required to help differentiate the work to meet the students need and also support students with their social emotional well-being. As a learning support assistant you will be working with children with SEND, following and delivering individualised training programs, working together with the team and ensuring high levels of practices are adhered to, managing behaviours, maintaining student's ability to stay on task, but more importantly promoting an engaging and enjoyable learning environment for its students.

The role:

- Working collaboratively with the class teacher
- Following individualised learning plan
- Differentiating the work to meet the student's needs
- Promoting a positive learning experience for all students
- Developing speech and language
- Utilising visual and sensory resources such as textures, sand and water play
- Supporting students in break times
- Assisting in field trips
- Supporting students in creative lessons such as music, art, dance and P.E.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
