**Position Overview**: We are looking for a hardworking, creative freelancer instructor to deliver basic-to-intermediate level classroom-based health and safety courses to adult learners on our own premises as well as on our clients' premises.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Delivery of different health and safety compliance courses and other qualifications

using the preferred training models
- Maintenance of learner records and administration of courses
- Preparation of reports in relation to performance against objectives, targets, and

SHEQ performance, as well as supporting on associated communications.
- Oversee both the classroom and office environments, ensuring the proper maintenance and security of equipment. Arrange seating, establish efficient processes, and provide necessary resources for students. Additionally, ensure that the office is well-equipped to meet the needs of both students and staff. Please ensure that the office is maintained in a clean condition for classes.
- Promote and ensure safe working practices and safeguarding of learners within line

with current Health and Safety legislation and LCG Safeguarding and Prevent policies.

**What you will need**:

- A teaching qualification at PTTLS level 3 or equivalent
- Experience delivering Level 1 Award in Health and safety in a construction environment or
- Proven previous experience in a health and safety position.
- Ability to create reliable risk assessments for training environments / activities
- Understanding best practice in both health and safety and learning delivery
- Civils or construction experience an advantage but not essential
- Civils or construction experience an advantage but not essential
- Additional qualifications/memberships in Environment, Health, Safety and Quality an

advantage.

1 Year minimum sector competence in both security guarding, door supervision and first aid.

**What We Offer**:

- Competitive daily rate between £120 - £160 + one of the highest commission pay structures in the market

**Schedule**:

- 8-9 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
