Overview:
Harrow Council is currently recruiting for a Court of Protection and Protection of Property Officer to join their Adult Services Division.

The role also includes undertaking property searches for wills or to make sure that the properties are secure and safe.

The post holder must evidence having worked in a court of protection team previously.

About you:
The successful applicant will have:

- Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005; Court of Protection rules 2017; and professional Deputy standards
- Knowledge of the role of the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) and Court of Protection
- Ability to work collaboratively with multi disciplinary teams including social work teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and organise work efficiently in order to meet Court and OPG deadlines
- Abiity to extract financial data from ledgers and accoutancy knowledge would be advisable
