This is a permanent role available at both full time and part time (30 hours per week) and offers flexible hybrid working, typically this will require you to work from the Bristol office 1-2 days per week with a choice of working from home or the office on the other days.

In this newly established position, the overall purpose is to provide vital technical support to Triodos Bank UK's Customer Due Diligence (CDD) team. To excel in this role, you'll need experience in both direct and indirect taxes, along with a relevant tax or accounting qualification (Association of Taxation Technicians, Chartered Tax Adviser, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). Working knowledge of FATCA/CRS is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. The role would suit someone with a compliance and risk mindset who also has experience and strong awareness of tax compliance reporting and key tax controls. As part of a small team, you may occasionally cover for other tax team co-workers.

**In addition, key responsibilities will require you to**:

- Develop and deliver annual advanced Customer Tax Integrity training to key stakeholders (Business Banking Relationship Managers, Credit Risk, CDD & Tax champions) to ensure relevant level of tax integrity knowledge is maintained
- Monitor tax evasion and avoidance trends, locally and globally, relevant to the Bank’s customer portfolio and wider stakeholders across the business
- Maintain relevant policies and associated documentation with respect to FATCA and CRS, ensuring FATCA/CRS policy is implemented across the business with ongoing adaptation as required
- Partner with key stakeholders to identify, record, measure and resolve FATCA/CRS tax risk in line with policy
- Horizon scan for FATCA and CRS updates relevant to Triodos UK and ensure technical and reporting requirements are appropriately communicated and implemented
- Work with 1st line teams to ensure FATCA/CRS related queries are promptly addressed
- Provide FATCA/CRS SME knowledge to the wider business, using a combination of own expertise and where required expertise obtained from specialist third parties
- Support the Tax Manager with the business-wide implementation of the Bank’s tax policy across the business, supporting 1st line where appropriate and necessary
- Produce tax control documents relevant to areas of responsibility to support TBUK’s Tax Control Framework, capturing risks, controls, roles and responsibilities and recommending process improvements
- Ensure relevant MI and assurance is obtained from key areas of the business to feed into management of the Bank’s Tax Control Framework
- Support the Tax Manager to ensure risks and controls in relation to Corporate Criminal Offence requirements, are identified, recorded, measured and resolved in line with policies and risk procedures

You will be able to manage tight deadlines, handle pressure with ease, and exhibit strong organizational skills. You
