Finance Officer

Our client is a local charity, providing vital support to service users across the Northumberland area. The role offers the opportunity to support his fantastic organisation in being able to fulfil their aims.

The duties of the Finance Officer will include:

- Maintain all financial records on Sage 50.
- Reconcile bank and other balance sheet accounts.
- Maintain the nominal ledger and prepare journal entries.
- Produce trial balances and financial reports.
- Oversee monthly payrolls, overseeing the associated reconciliations.

Our successful Finance Officer will:

- Possess a recognised qualification of AAT level 3 or above ACCA / ACMA
- Extensive experience of working in a finance environment, completing the above duties
- Be familiar with payroll transactions to include HMRC reporting, SSPSMP and annual leave calculations.
- Full IT literacy bust include MS Excel, Sage is desirable but not essential.
