**MIG Welder**

**Position Summary**:
The MIG Welder is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a production line. The MIG Molder is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a production line. The Molder will be responsible for all aspects of the production line, including, but not limited to, reading blueprints, making measurements, setting up and operating production equipment.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Read blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine complete specifications of production equipment.
- Measure and set up production equipment.
- Maintain quality standards for each run.
- Operate a variety of MIG and Stick welding machines.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations set forth by the company and or government agencies.
- Maintain a clean work area and follow all company safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

**Position Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or manufacturing-related fields preferred.
- Ability to read a 3-D design (preferred).
- Previous experience with welding metals preferred (MIG Welders).

The welders will be using MIG, Plasma cutters, and gas axe.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 weeks

**Salary**: £13.00-£16.00 per hour

- MIG welding: 1 year (preferred)
- Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
