Aqua-Tech Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading Engineering company who specialise in the water industry. Due to various recent project wins, they are looking to grow their teams and are currently looking for a **Project Support Assistant**. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing company who are already well established and highly reputable. The client is extremely forward thinking and will consider a 4-day working week after the initial probation period. They have offices in Cumbernauld, Edinburgh, Preston and **Inverness** with extremely flexible working arrangements (office/home based).

**As the Project Management Assistant your duties and responsibilities will include**:

- The Project Support Assistant will be working within a multi-disciplinary team on projects primarily in the water & waste water, power distribution and petrochemical industries
- Assisting with project delivery by supporting the Project Manager, Commercial Manager, SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality) Manager and Project Engineers with daily tasks
- The Project Support Assistant will be assisting with the engineering of projects by issuing documentation to clients and collating final documentation in a timely manner to ensure swift and successful project handover to clients
- Participate in collaboration meetings with other engineering disciplines and professionals
- Procurement and support for subcontract procurement based on detailed specifications
- The Project Support Assistant will be assisting with the finances of projects by drafting commercial documents and maintaining records
- Record and control all project information and documentation
- Creating project work packs for Site Managers and Installation Teams under CDM (2015) regulations for all new projects
- Assisting the project teams in compiling SHEQ documentation as required on a project-to-project basis
- The Project Support Assistant will be responsible for recording project KPI’s to Project Managers, Senior Management and clients on a regular basis

**Skills & Knowledge requirements**:

- **Power BI experience is essential**:

- Industry experience in any similar roles would be advantageous
- Computer literate with a good understanding of appropriate software packages (predominantly Microsoft Office)
- HNC, HND or degree qualified in any of the following disciplines would be advantageous: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Construction, Engineering, Health & Safety
- Able to integrate well into a team and take work tasks from Managers and Engineers alike as well as work independently on given tasks
- Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands based on project requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Flexible approach to work
- A willingness and enthusiasm to learn, develop and progress

This is a permanent role with a salary of £22,000 to £30,000 depending on experience, and with scope for progression within the company.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
