We are looking for two Payroll Clerks to join our Payroll Team in Southampton to support queries from both NHS SBS employees and employees of the various NHS Trusts in England.
The successful applicants will input data into our systems to help process a variety of different payroll tasks. For example, this can include tax and NI code enquiries or questions regarding new starter information and leaver entitlement.
This role will begin as an office based role with five days a week in our beautifully set Southampton office but once training is complete you will be based from home with travel to the office required just once a week.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Identify the more complicated enquiries to management or raise to wider payroll team
- Process transactions to the set level of accuracy and quality
- Compile different daily reports and invoices
- Maintain accurate records of work completed for audit purposes
- Complete all tasks within agreed timeframes
**What you’ll bring**:
- A background in office based administration
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to input data with accuracy
- Able to deliver a high-quality customer service in a professional manner
- Experience of working within a performance target driven environment
- A problem solving mentality
- Excellent organisational skills
**It would be great if you had**:
- Previous payroll experience
