We’re looking for a **Ganger** to join our Utilities, National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) team no days are the same. Within this role, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to programme.

Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected. In this role, you will be working on our National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) contract, where we work on maintaining the client electricity distribution network across the chosen area.

In the role of Utilities Ganger, you will play a vital role in managing the team responsible for all stages of excavation works on site and aspects of digging & lay on the electricity networks.

**Location**: Based arounf Mendips and Surrounding areas

**Contract**: Permanent - Full time

**Salary**: Weekly paid, hourly rate £10ph to £14.50ph, dependant on experience

**Responsibilities**

As a Ganger for the National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) team your day-to-day will include:

- Taking personal responsibility for Health & Safety performance, overall quality of work and meeting productivity targets.
- Communicating with the ganger and other colleagues as required updating them on progress
- Coordinating all site activities

**Who are we looking for?**
- Full UK Driving Licence
- CSCS Card and EUSR Water Hygiene Trained (can obtained in the role)
