Job Title: Conveyancing Paralegal
Location: Epping
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: up to £30,000

Job Summary:
The Conveyancing Paralegal will assist in all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions, from initial instruction through to post-completion. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Assist in managing a caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing matters under the supervision of a conveyancer or solicitor.
- Document Preparation: Draft and prepare various legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documents.
- Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.
- Searches and Enquiries: Conduct property searches and review results, raising enquiries with solicitors and clients as necessary.
- Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory requirements and firm policies, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
- Title Review: Assist in reviewing and interpreting title documents, leases, and other relevant legal documents.
- Completion and Post-Completion: Prepare completion statements, arrange for the transfer of funds, and handle post-completion matters such as registration with the Land Registry.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team, including file management, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications:
- Education: A paralegal certificate, associate degree, or equivalent experience in a legal environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in a conveyancing role is highly desirable.
- Knowledge: Understanding of residential and commercial conveyancing procedures and property law.

Skills:
  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  - Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  - Proficiency in using conveyancing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  - Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
