Position: Welder/Fabricator
Location: Felixstowe Port - (Lloyds Weld test would take place at Lowestoft site)
Rate/Salary: £40K - £45K (based on a 40 hour week, overtime will increase salary)
Type: Permanent.

The below job description will outline this position of: Welder/ Fabricator

We are looking for a Welder for one of our maritime clients.

Typically, this person will Demonstrate MMA or Stick welding on all steel work. This position is a permanent position based on 40 hours per week with a rate of £16/£17 Per hour depending on experience.

Duties and responsibilities of the Welder/Fabricator:

• Demonstrate MMA or Stick welding
• working on containers/boats/cranes/railway lines
• working from technical drawings
• working in all weather conditions.
• working on planned and unplanned maintenance

Qualifications and requirement for the Welder:

• Need to have NVQ L3 or Apprenticeship or equivalent years of experience
• or previous codings in Stick MMA / previous Marine experience would be an advantage.
