Exciting Opportunity: Science Teacher for SEMH School in Runcorn - Start September

Position: Science Teacher, Location: Runcorn, Cheshire, Start Date: September, Contract Type: Full-time, long-term with potential for permanent

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and inspiring Science lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEMH needs.
Develop and implement individualised learning plans that address the unique challenges and strengths of each student.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages emotional and academic growth.
Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators, support staff, and parents to create a holistic educational experience.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as necessary.About You:

Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience: Previous experience working with SEMH students or in a special educational setting is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong classroom management skills, patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning.
Attributes: Creative, resilient, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact in a challenging yet rewarding environment.To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
