The Team & Focus of the Role

Would you like to join a great team dedicated to colleague development? Our business is growing, and we are looking for an experienced trainer to deliver soft and systems skills training. It will help us create a learning culture across our organisation and provide colleagues with the opportunity to enhance their learning and aid their progression.

You will have the freedom to use your creative training design skills to bring subjects to life and deliver in the most engaging way & we always welcome views on continuous improvement.

This is a permanent full-time position on a 37.5-hour contract (Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.15pm) however we can consider part-time hours with a minimum of 30 hours per week and can be flexible on how those hours are arranged as long as our core hours of 10am – 4pm are covered. We offered a hybrid working policy however due to the nature of this role you need to be commutable to Ashby de la Zouch on a weekly basis.

In return, beyond your base salary you will be included in:

Duties will include:

• Design and delivery of specific business systems training

• Design and delivery of soft skills training

• 1:1 coaching and mentoring people to perform at their best

• Running workshops, in person and online

• Driving the L&D agenda across the business and delivering the L&D plan

• Ensuring appropriate evaluation, ROI and reporting

• Assisting with early career training and induction days

The successful candidate will have...

• A passion for learning and development and who has previous experience of designing, delivering and facilitating, engaging training sessions

• A track record of writing training materials and an understanding of blended learning techniques

• Experience of inspiring colleagues to embed learning and deliver high performance

• IT literacy with a proficiency in MS office and the ability to learn other systems

• A passion for developing people and yourself with strong coaching and mentoring skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with confidence to deliver key messages

• An ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner

• A flexible approach, as travel and an occasional overnight stay may be required

• Proactive, professional approach and good stakeholder management skills

• Full UK driving licence

Experience within professional services environment would be helpful but not essential.
