Newstaff Employment are seeking a dedicated and talented Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen in Swanton Morley, Norfolk, NR20.
£16.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section according to the restaurant's standards.
Manage and train junior kitchen staff, including commis chefs and apprentices.
Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of your section.
Assist in developing new menu items, contributing innovative ideas and feedback.
Monitor and control stock levels, reducing wastage and ensuring freshness.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards at all times.
Support the kitchen team in delivering a consistent, top-quality dining experience.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment.
A strong passion for food and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of culinary excellence.
NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent is desirable.
