About the role:

The KS2 Teacher position presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and guide young learners through their primary education journey. As a qualified teacher, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal development of students, fostering a supportive and stimulating learning environment. With a focus on delivering engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum, you’ll use your expertise to facilitate growth in key subjects while nurturing individual strengths and interests.

This full-time, long-term role offers a competitive salary range of £160 to £210 per day, providing a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact on the educational journey of children in the Finchley community.

Application Requirements:

• Applicants should hold QTS, indicating they have completed the necessary training and qualifications to teach in primary schools in the UK.
• While not always mandatory, prior experience in teaching Key Stage 2 students can be beneficial. This could include previous teaching roles or relevant placements during teacher training.
• A solid understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and its objectives is essential for effective lesson planning and delivery.
• The ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, manage behavior effectively, and adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum objectives, ensuring progression in students’ learning.
• Use a variety of assessment methods to monitor students’ progress, identify areas for development, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to learning, managing behavior effectively and promoting positive relationships among students.
