Our client is a privately owned Development business building both private developments and carrying out projects for local authorities and housing associations.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring in a Senior Site Manager to oversee a private sale development of 18 houses and 22 flats in Edenbridge, Kent.
The flats will range from £250k for a one bed to a 2 bed at £325k and then the four bed houses selling for upwards of £600k. The GDV for the project is just under £20million.
Project information:
Project Value - £10m build cost
18 Traditional Build Houses and 22 Flats in a loft style/ warehouse style refurbishment.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for managing the construction of a development, including all associated pre commencement works, ensuring that targets are met regarding health and safety, delivery to build programme quality, customers care, and cost.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring compliance on site.
Co-ordinating labour and resources on site
Manage material levels on site to ensure the minimum amount of stock.
Ensuring that all plots are built to the highest standard of quality.
Undertaking company directed quality control procedures and inspections.
Monitoring and controlling the cost of production, and approving payment to contractors and trades where appropriate.
Initiating and attending plot inspections with the Local Building Inspector.
Carrying out toolbox talks or similar on-site briefings.
Liaising proactively with other internal departments, externals suppliers and partners to ensure the build programme is achieved
To deliver a high standard of site presentation at all times.
Suitable candidates must have:
5/10 years No1 PM / SSM experience
Residential Contracting experience
Stable career history
Valid CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, Scaffold Inspection etc
On offer:
£70,000 per annum
