About the role:

We are on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) specialising in English as an Additional Language (EAL) to join our friendly team. This part-time role is perfect for someone who has a genuine interest in supporting children to overcome language barriers and reach their full potential.

As a TA focused on EAL, you will be playing a vital role in ensuring that every student feels confident, understood, and included in their learning journey. Application Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within Key Stage 2.

• A strong understanding of EAL strategies and techniques.

• A passion for education and helping children with diverse needs.

• Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted support to students with English as an Additional Language, helping them develop their language skills across all subjects.

• Assist in planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons and interventions.

• Monitor and track students’ progress, offering feedback and encouragement to ensure they reach their potential.

• Collaborate closely with class teachers, SEN coordinators, and other TAs to create a supportive learning environment.
