CNC Turner
Job Description

Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, and tapping
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances
Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to complete the job
Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments such as callipers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Proficiency in machining techniques and processes
Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and equipment
Experience with tooling selection, setup, and maintenance
Strong measurement skills using callipers, micrometres, and other hand tools
Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
