Junior Estimator

Job description

The Junior Estimators role will be to produce quotes and tenders for small maintenance works and minor projects.

You should have a professional attitude, with a hard working mentality to meet each challenge directly, that our clients present to us.

Junior Estimator Responsibilities:

* Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labour, and equipment.

* Liaising with the contracts manager to review quotes.

* Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients, to understand requirements of work and produce a quotation to meet their expectations.

* Meet on sites to survey works ensuring all requirements are met. (If required)

* Ensuring quote submissions are comprehensively reviewed and qualified correctly.

* Reviewing quotes not won and liaising with clients for feedback.

* Ordering of materials for accepted works

* Liaising with engineers on a daily basis for materials needed.

Working Hours:

* Monday - Friday 08:00am - 18:00pm

Skills Needed:

* Good knowledge of Microsoft packages (Excel/Word/Outlook)

* The ability to self-manage time and workloads and multi-task various projects sequentially.

* Ability to liaise and converse with clients in a professional manner.

* Full UK driver's licence

* Multitasking

* Proactive

* Able to work to tight deadlines
