Resourcing Group are currently working with a client who are looking for Building Surveyor - Housing Damp, Mould & Disrepair to join their team on a full-time perm basis with a hybrid working environment.

Suitable candidates will need experience in the following…

A good communicator with a proven background in building maintenance and construction
Good understanding of building pathology
Experience of working as a Disrepair Surveyor
An understanding of the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS)
Understanding of and working with a Schedule of Rates
Degree in Building Surveying, HNC or similar in a building discipline
Competent use of Word, Excel and Outlook.
Full driving licence and vehicle.Day to day duties will include…

The role will require a good understanding of building pathology to identify structural and other related defects to manage packages of works to eradicate and or reduce the build-up of air borne moisture which in turn is affecting the property by presenting a surface mould and other disrepair characteristics.

Through partnership working, with both the tenant and contractor, you will arrange and manage works from inception to completion to ensure a seamless approach is delivered.

You will ensure that all disrepair and housing conditions claims are dealt with in a consistent, timely manner through to resolution.
